While you’re indulging in takeout, they’re getting. it. done.

If you’re looking for a career change in 2018 – one that’ll let you get outdoors more, transform your fitness and help you live your healthiest life – the answer might not be in a new course or even a job-seeking website.
Turns out, Deliveroo riders are getting it done on the job, when it comes to smashing their fitness targets, burning 600 calories a day, while you’re at home over-indulging. (Just us, then?)
According to data from the food-delivering, convenience-boosting HQ (who strapped Fitbits onto their riders over the course of a week), the people bringing you your last-minute dinners and lunches (and breakfasts, if that’s your jam) are cycling 140km, on average, across a working week.
What’s more, is that an honest week’s work for these guys (and girls) helps them burn, generally speaking, about 3000 calories over five shifts.
It’s certainly one way to achieve your health goals for 2018… and, asking for a friend, does it come with an employee discount code?
