You don’t need to belong to a fancy fitness studio to reap the rewards of a dedicated workout routine.

This super-simple core workout from Zova, a fitness and workout app is unlike others, as it’s actually been created with the expertise of the Sports and Exercise department at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS).

“Each of the moves are scored on a difficulty rating,” UTS lecturer, Lee Wallace tells myBody+Soul.

“It might be based on MET value, that is how much oxygen is consumed, or how many muscle groups are used, or how many joints. There’s a science behind the exertion levels and progression,” he says.
