The workout that makes Halle Berry frisky


She’s strong, drop-dead gorgeous, and every week Halle Berry seems to come out with some new and exciting fitness revelation that promises to make us look 30 years younger.

And now, our favourite Bond girl has shared the dirty deets on how she amps up her sex drive.

First things first, there’s no vibrating tools or Viagra involved, and secondly, it’s just another reason as to why fitting in that sweat sesh is always going to be doing more harm than good.

The actress took to Instagram as part of her #Fitness Friday series, posting a video of her and her PT Peter Lee Thomas, doing some pretty intense cardio exercises.

“For me, cardio is an essential part of my workout, and I believe that my fitness regime is not complete without it! Cardio and heart health can go hand-in-hand,” the actress wrote.

“It efficiently pumps blood through the body, balancing your #BloodPressure and resting heart rate… other benefits I have experience include – Improved memory – increased #circulation leading to clear, healthier skin – #Bloodsugar control – increased oxygen supply, so your muscles work harder – Reduced fatigue and shortness of breath – Significant calorie burn, helping maintain a healthy weight – My personal favourite – increased sexual arousal in women.”

And can we point out her use of fire emojis? Girlfriend, fire emojis don’t lie, and science doesn’t either.

Research has proven that women who are physically active report greater sexual desire, arousal, and satisfaction that those who are sedentary.

So much so that one very strange study found young women who did intense cycling for 20 minutes and watched an X-rated film afterwards showed greater physiological sexual arousal, which was measured by a device that assesses vaginal blood flow, compared to those who didn’t exercise before seeing the film.

Moreover, working up a sweat also balances hormones (for both men and women), and certain moves can actually lead to better orgasms (hello squats, hip thrusts, and kegal exercises).

And that my friends, is how you drop it like it’s hot a la Halle.
