Winter is a tricky time of year as most outdoorsy exercise is a no-go.
On KIC we make sure every workout can be done not only indoors but at home with no equipment.
Whether it’s boxing, HIIT or one of our 10 min challenges, we keep thing simple, yet effective. Here’s one of our fave HIIT sessions you can try at home on a rainy day.
Round 1: Jumping lunges, squats, hip thrusts.
10 reps of each for 5 mins, as many rounds as you can do! (no break).
Round 2: Step-ups (use a couch or sturdy chair), squats, alternating lunges .
Start at 2 reps for all three exercises and increase by 2’s working your way up to 10.
Round 3: High knees, reverse crunches .
45 secs on, 15 secs off, alternating exercises, 5 sets.
Round 4: Skipping (no rope required, simply replicate arm motion).
20 secs on, 10 secs off x 10.
