Symptoms includes feeling sick, being sick, stomach cramps and diarrhoea.

Those who have contracted the illness may also experience fever, chills, headaches and even blood in their stools.

There was recently Listeria panic as a number of products were recalled from Sainsbury’s and Tesco.

The outbreak has meant that supermarkets have been on high alert for mainly frozen foods that could carry the listeria virus.
