Queen Letizia of Spain: Thrifty royal recycles optical illusion dress for Madrid meeting

Queen Letizia of Spain, 45, was snapped arriving to a meeting at the meeting in Madrid on Friday morning wearing the same dress she wore back in September last year.

The monochrome dress perfectly accentuated the royal’s slender waistline but also offered an optical illusion for snappers.

From a far, the thin black and white lines on the dress look as though they bend.

This time round wearing the dress the former journalist wore a pair of black pointed toe stilettoes.

In September last year, Letizia attended the opening of a new course at a school in Tenerife wearing the same dress.

Famous for her skyscrapper heels, Letizia did not bow down to flat shoes on this occasion.

She again, wore a black shoes, but this time of slingbacks with a thick heel.

On both ocasions, she opted for natural make-up and wore her hair down and straight.

The Spanish queen is AECC Honorary President.

Letiza dazzled in a low-cut cream dress in Madrid yesterday.

The 45 year old Spanish royal could have passed for much younger as she stepped out for an Aspergers confederations.

The dress was made from a light muslin fabric appropriate for the hot summer weather.

It was frayed at the edges to add a stylish, undone touch to the look.

It fell to mid way down her calves, showing off a hint of tanned ankle.

She tied the dress tightly at the waist in order to accentuate her hourglass figure.

She wore her chestnut coloured hair in loose waves around her shoulders.

Her makeup was kept simple, with pink eyeshadow, nude lips and black mascara.

It’s been a busy week for Letizia this week. On Tuesday she attended the Zarzuela Palace for a royal event.

She wore a slinky white midi dress which fitted tightly around her svelte physique.
