Melania Trump, 47, began her busy day meeting children at the Children’s National Medical Center, Washington, reading a story as she sat with Santa Claus.
Feeling festive, Melania wore crisp white for the occasion, standing out in a fitted white pencil skirt which came to her knee.
She paired this with a glamorous white coat, worn over her shoulders, and a plain white t-shirt.
As always, the First Lady wore sky-high shoes, choosing snakeskin stiletto courts to set of the white of her outfit.
Her hair was blow-dried into loose waves, and Melania had a shimmering gold eyeshadow and deep bronzed look on her face.
Her day did not end there, however, and Melania later joined her husband Donald Trump, 71, for an event at The White House.
The couple hosted a Hanukkah reception in the East Room of their Presidential home, and Melania chose black for the evening.
Keeping her look relaxed, Melania’s dress was quite plain, fitting close to her body.
Her hair and makeup did not change from earlier on the day.
Donald and Melania listed as Holocaust survivor Louise Lawrence-Israels spoke to the assembled guests after being introduced by the President.
Melania has been getting into the festive spirit in recent weeks, wearing seasonal red for a Christmas Tree lighting event.
The lighting ceremony dates back to Christmas Eve 1923, when President Calvin Collidge lit a Christmas tree in front of 3,000 spectators.
Performers at the event included Boys II Bow Ties, Craig Campbell, Jack Wagner, Mannheim Steamroller, The Beach Boys and the U.S. Navy Band.
The First Lady dressed for the festive occasion and the cold weather in a red check coat which tied at the waist.
Melania wore her hair down and wavy and wore plenty of dark eye make-up and lipgloss.
Donald Trump matched with his wife by wearing a red tie with his white shirt and black suit trousers combination.
