Melania Trump, 47, Donald Trump, 71, and Barron Trump, 11, returned from their Florida getaway on Monday evening after a week of golf, family time and a lavish New Year’s Eve party.
On New Year’s Day morning the US President tweeted: “Will be leaving Florida for Washington (D.C.) today at 4:00pm. Much work to be done, but it will be a great New Year!”
As the family stepped off Marine One and walked across the South lawn of the White House, Melania was seen wearing a head to toe burgundy outfit.
She teamed a burgundy roll neck top with a pair of tight burgundy leather trousers, wore a pair of burgundy stiletto heels and accessorised with a burgundy handbag.
The First Lady made sure to wrap up warm though in a mushroom-coloured jacket.
Her hair down in loose waves and she wore her signature heavy black eye make-up.
On Sunday night, President Trump and Melania bid farewell to 2017 at an exclusive party at his private club.
His daughter Ivanka Trump, 36, and her husband Jared Kushner, 36, were also present at the event, alongside Trump’s sons Eric Trump, 33, and Donald Trump Jr, 40, as well as Treasure Secretary Steven Mnuchin, 55.
Melania wore a stunning £3,000 Erdem gown to the annual New Year’s Eve party.
The gown was light pink and covered in sequins with a pretty floral design.
Batwing sleeves on the delicate dress accentuated the former model’s narrow waist.
She completed the look with a deep tan and baby pink patent stilettos, and her hair was sleekly blowdried.
While the family made sure to enjoy New Year’s, Donald Trump still had work on the mind.
He said the stock market will continue to rise in 2018 and that companies are going to continue to come into the US.
He also tweeted on New Year’s Day that Iran is failing and called for a change there, as security forces clashes with demonstrators rallying in a rare show of displeasure with the country’s leaders.
Ivanka Trump wore a dress with a daring thigh split to the occasion.
