Meghan Markle, 36, was in London this evening attending a Commonwealth event with Prince Harry, 33.
Taking a break from her more safe and demure pink ensembles, she wore a slinky yellow evening dress.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were at Marlborough House to meet young people from across the Commonwealth.
Taking a break from the more muted colour palette of pinks and nudes she’s been sporting in recent weeks, Meghan wowed in a bright mustard yellow gown.
Cinched in at the waist and tight-fitted, the dress perfectly framed Meghan’s svelte figure.
The striking evening dress featured a sexy side slit, which ran up to above the Duchess’ knee.
Adding a more conservative touch, the dress featured a high neckline, coming all the way up to Meghan’s delicate neck.
Perfect for the summer evening the slinky dress featured no sleeves, and came to just below the knees.
Paying homage to her homeland, the dress was designed by US fashion designer Brandon Maxwell.
Maxwell is currently Lady Gaga’s fashion director, and is known for his cutting edge and bold designs.
Dressing the look up Meghan wore her hair in an elegant updo, a perfectly coiffed bun.
Parted in the middle with not a single stray hair was in sight, the 36-year-old has forgone her favourite messy bun in favour of a more royal do.
On her feet Meghan toned down the bright look with a simple pair of nude pointed-toe stiletto heels.
Matching the simple heels, she kept her makeup natural with a nude lip and just a subtle smokey eye.
Her nails appeared to be in a pale pink, following royal etiquette with the Queen’s reported favoured shade, Ballet Slippers by Essie.
The event was hosted by Commonwealth Secretary-General Patricia Scotland, and marked the the culmination of the Commonwealth Secretariat’s youth leadership workshop.
During the evening Meghan and Harry chatted to the participants, hearing the ideas of individuals hailing from all around the world.
This included individuals from Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga ahead of the couple’s first royal tour of Australasia this autumn.
Taking a break from official public engagements, Meghan was spotted last weekend at Coworth Polo Club in Ascot.
Attending on both Saturday and Sunday, Meghan hid from cameras as she cheered on Harry from the sidelines, wearing a summery gingham dress followed by a crisp white shirt and black tailored cigarette trousers – reminiscent of her pre-wedding style.
