Brigitte Macron is the First Lady of France and one of the most stylish ladies in the world.
The 64-year-old is famous for her blonde bob and often wears it up in a stylish bun.
Recreating this look might seem tricky but Katie Allen, Creative Manager and Master stylist at Charles Worthington, has broken it down into seven easy steps.
What will you need to recreate Brigitte’s look? Hair tongs, clips, kirby grips and willingness to try something new.
Katie Allen’s step-by-step to getting Brigitte Macron’s hair:
STEP ONE: Tong hair on the ends to make it easier to put up
STEP TWO: – Section off the top section and clip out of the way, also isolating the side sections above the ears.
STEP THREE: Take the back section and secure with a band into a ponytail
STEP FOUR: Backcomb the ponytail to create volume
STEP FIVE: Take the ponytail and use kirby grips to secure the ponytail into a bun around the band
STEP SIX: Backcomb the top section and secure into the bun
STEP SEVEN: Take the side sections and cross them over into the bun
Brigitte revealed to Elle magazine earlier this year that she was “sensitive” to French fashion.
She told the magazine: “If it’s good for French fashion, why not? I’m very sensitive to fashion. The world has a certain idea of French women.
“I’ve always paid close attention to how I dress—just ask my daughters or my students!
“I have never left the house without being well groomed and dressed. Sometimes it works better than others, but I don’t know any other way of going about it. I’m lucky to have met Nicolas Ghesquière, the creative director of Vuitton.”
